Warrant arrests
Deputies arrested nine individuals on outstanding warrants throughout the week, with contacts made during traffic stops, pedestrian checks, and responses to disturbances across Palm Desert.
Dec. 11, 1:31 p.m. — A 56-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested at Highway 111 and Desert Crossing.
Dec. 13, 1:16 p.m. — A 46-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested at Highway 111 and Park View Drive.
Dec. 15, 8:46 a.m. — A 47-year-old Desert Hot Springs man was arrested during a traffic stop at Country Club Drive and Monterey Avenue.
Dec. 15, 9 a.m. — A 40-year-old Palm Desert woman and a 37-year-old Texas man were arrested during a traffic stop at Cook Street and Monterey Avenue.
Dec. 15, 3 p.m. — A 30-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from Yucca Valley, were arrested at Las Flores Lane and San Gorgonio Way.
Dec. 16, 8 a.m. — A 44-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested at Lupine Lane and El Paseo during a disturbance call.
Dec. 17, 11:01 a.m. — A 60-year-old Coachella man was arrested at Monterey Avenue and Highway 111.
Dec. 17, 8:23 p.m. — A 44-year-old Apple Valley man was arrested at Highway 111 and Parkview Drive.
Retail thefts
Deputies responded to multiple theft incidents along the Highway 111 corridor, making three arrests and recovering stolen merchandise.
Dec. 15, 11:49 a.m. — A 31-year-old Coachella woman was arrested at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 with stolen merchandise.
Dec. 15, 5:41 p.m. — A 38-year-old Desert Hot Springs man was arrested at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 with stolen merchandise. He also had an outstanding warrant.
Dec. 15, 6 p.m. — A 26-year-old Indio woman was arrested at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 with stolen merchandise. She also had an outstanding warrant.
DUI arrests
Deputies arrested four drivers for driving under the influence, including one who was also driving a stolen vehicle.
Dec. 11, 2:36 p.m. — A 39-year-old Oak Hills man was arrested following a traffic collision at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111.
Dec. 12, 12:50 a.m. — A 26-year-old British Columbia man was arrested at Highway 111 and Indian Trail in Rancho Mirage while driving a stolen vehicle that had been reported from a business in the 74000 block of Country Club Drive.
Dec. 14, 8:14 p.m. — A 75-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested at a business in the 36000 block of Cook Street.
Dec. 14, 9:29 p.m. — A 34-year-old Palm Desert woman was arrested following a traffic collision at Country Club Drive and Cook Street.
Stolen vehicle recoveries
Deputies recovered one stolen vehicle during the week.
Dec. 12, 12:50 a.m. — A vehicle reported stolen from the 74000 block of Country Club Drive was recovered at Highway 111 and Indian Trail in Rancho Mirage. The driver, a 26-year-old British Columbia man, was arrested for the theft and DUI.
Narcotics arrests
Deputies made six narcotics-related arrests during the week, primarily following suspicious person calls and pedestrian checks along Highway 111.
Dec. 11, 1:10 p.m. — A 36-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 for being under the influence of drugs.
Dec. 11, 1:24 p.m. — A 40-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested at San Pablo Avenue and Alessandro Drive for being under the influence of drugs.
Dec. 11, 3 p.m. — A 45-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested at a business in the 77000 block of Country Club Drive with narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Dec. 11, 4:39 p.m. — A 42-year-old Thousand Palms woman was arrested at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 with narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Dec. 11, 6:31 p.m. — A 45-year-old Rancho Mirage man was arrested at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 with narcotics.
Dec. 11, 10:05 p.m. — A 39-year-old Indio woman was arrested at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 with narcotics.
Dec. 15, 11 a.m. — A 65-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested at Highway 111 and Plaza Way with narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 16, 8:04 a.m. — A 38-year-old Coachella man was arrested for hit-and-run following a traffic stop at Deep Canyon Road and Fred Waring Drive.
Dec. 16, 2:42 p.m. — A 33-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested for battery following a physical altercation at a residence in the 77000 block of Michigan Drive.
Dec. 17, 12:32 p.m. — A 53-year-old Beaumont man was arrested for child neglect after leaving a child unsupervised in a vehicle for an extended period at a business in the 74000 block of Country Club Drive.
