Deputies made several warrant arrests throughout the week, stopping individuals on foot and during traffic stops across multiple Palm Desert corridors.
A 54-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested on a warrant following a pedestrian check at Country Club Drive and Washington Street on Feb. 19.
A 58-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested on a warrant following a pedestrian check at Cook Street and 42nd Avenue on Feb. 21.
A 38-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested on a narcotics and warrant charge following a pedestrian check at De Anza Way and San Carlos Avenue on Feb. 21.
A 40-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested on narcotics and warrant charges following a pedestrian check at Las Palmas Avenue and Alessandro Drive on Feb. 23.
An 86-year-old male from Indio was arrested on a warrant following a traffic stop at Deep Canyon Drive and Fred Waring Drive on Feb. 24.
A 29-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested on a warrant following a pedestrian check at Town Center Way and Hahn Road on Feb. 24.
A 23-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested on narcotics and warrant charges following a pedestrian check at Town Center Way and Hahn Road on Feb. 24.
A 39-year-old male from Palm Springs was arrested on a warrant following a pedestrian check at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 on Feb. 24.
A 51-year-old male from Palm Springs was arrested on a warrant following a pedestrian check at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 on Feb. 25.
Retail thefts
Deputies responded to multiple theft calls during the week, with several incidents occurring at businesses along Highway 111 and Monterey Avenue.
A 54-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested after stolen merchandise was found on him at a business in the 34000 block of Monterey Avenue on Feb. 19.
A 32-year-old male from Mecca was arrested after stolen merchandise was found on him at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 on Feb. 19.
A 55-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested after stolen merchandise was found on him at a business in the 44000 block of Town Center Way on Feb. 19.
A 19-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested after stolen merchandise was found on him at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 on Feb. 19.
An 18-year-old female from Desert Hot Springs was arrested after stolen merchandise was found on her at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 on Feb. 23.
A 45-year-old male from Palm Springs was arrested on theft and narcotics charges in connection with a theft that occurred Feb. 24 at a business in the 34000 block of Monterey Avenue. Deputies located the suspect at Ramon Road and Landau Road in Cathedral City.
DUI arrests
Deputies made one DUI arrest during the week following a traffic collision.
A 55-year-old female from Bermuda Dunes was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic collision at Portola Avenue and El Paseo on Feb. 22.
Stolen vehicle recoveries
The Sheriff's Department did not report any stolen vehicle recovery incidents in the significant incident report this week. However, ALPR cameras flagged 25 stolen vehicles during the period.
Narcotics arrests
Deputies made multiple narcotics arrests throughout the week, with stops occurring at intersections across the city.
A 31-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested on narcotics and parole violation charges following a pedestrian check at Highway 111 and Plaza Way on Feb. 19.
A 40-year-old male from Bermuda Dunes was arrested on narcotics charges following a traffic stop at Washington Street and Hovley Lane East on Feb. 20.
A 47-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested on narcotics charges following a pedestrian check at San Pablo Avenue and Guadalupe Avenue on Feb. 20.
A 55-year-old female from Palm Desert was arrested on narcotics charges following a pedestrian check at Portola Avenue and Julie Drive on Feb. 20.
A 40-year-old male from Indio was arrested on narcotics charges following a pedestrian check at Washington Street and Harris Street on Feb. 21.
A 45-year-old female was arrested on narcotics charges after deputies responding to a suspicious person call contacted her at a residence in the 74000 block of Erin Street on Feb. 25.

Weapons violation: A 30-year-old male from Desert Hot Springs was arrested after deputies conducting a traffic stop at Fred Waring Drive and Yellow Sage found him in possession of a prohibited weapon on Feb. 19.
Vandalism: A 35-year-old female from Indio was arrested after deputies found she had damaged property at a business in the 44000 block of Town Center Way on Feb. 19.
Resisting arrest: A 34-year-old male from Washington was arrested after he failed to comply with deputies' commands and physically resisted during a disturbance call at a business in the 44000 block of San Pablo Avenue on Feb. 22.
Public intoxication: A 65-year-old male from La Quinta was arrested for public intoxication following a disturbance at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 on Feb. 22.
Public intoxication: A 66-year-old male from La Quinta was arrested for public intoxication following a pedestrian check at Highway 111 and Town Center Way on Feb. 23.
Trespassing: A 28-year-old male from Forestville was arrested after refusing to leave private property at a business in the 44000 block of Town Center Way on Feb. 24.
