Warrant arrests
Deputies made four warrant arrests throughout the week, stopping individuals at businesses and during traffic stops across the city.
Jan. 22, 3:20 p.m. — A 40-year-old from Indio was found to have an outstanding warrant after deputies contacted him at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111. He was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 24, 9:58 p.m. — A 31-year-old female from Bermuda Dunes was found to have an outstanding warrant after deputies responded to a suspicious person call at a business in the 41000 block of Boardwalk. She was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 26, 4:03 p.m. — A 32-year-old male from Palm Springs fled from deputies responding to a suspicious person call at a business in the 34000 block of Monterey Avenue. After being apprehended, he was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and booked on charges including resisting and delaying an officer.
Jan. 27, 10:22 p.m. — A 33-year-old male from Palm Desert was found to have an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop at Country Club Drive and Monterey Avenue. He was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 28, 9:25 a.m. — A 31-year-old male from Palm Desert was found to have an outstanding warrant during a pedestrian check at Desert Crossings and Highway 111. He was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
Retail thefts
Deputies responded to multiple theft calls at businesses along the Highway 111 corridor, with two suspects also found in possession of narcotics.
Jan. 23, 3:30 p.m. — A 24-year-old male from Indio was contacted after a theft report at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111. Deputies recovered the stolen items and found narcotics on him. He was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 27, 10:48 a.m. — A 27-year-old male from Palm Desert was contacted after a theft report at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111. Deputies recovered stolen merchandise and found narcotics on him. He was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
DUI arrests
Deputies made four DUI arrests during the week, including two stemming from traffic collisions on Jan. 24.
Jan. 23, 10:14 a.m. — A 45-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at Portola Avenue and El Paseo. He was booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 24, 4:15 p.m. — A 74-year-old female from Indian Wells was arrested for DUI following a traffic collision at Highway 74 and El Paseo. She was booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 24, 8:08 p.m. — A 71-year-old female from Palm Desert was arrested for DUI following a traffic collision at El Paseo and Larkspur Lane. She was booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 28, 6:22 p.m. — A 32-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested for DUI following a traffic collision at Alessandro Drive and De Anza Way. He was booked at the county jail in Indio.

Jan. 22, 9:21 p.m. — A 49-year-old male from Palm Desert was arrested after deputies located narcotics on him during a pedestrian check at San Luis Rey Avenue and Highway 111. He was also found to be on county probation. He was booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 23, 4:53 p.m. — A 26-year-old female from Palm Desert was arrested after deputies located narcotics on her during a pedestrian check at Avenue of the States and California Drive. She was booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 23, 8:17 p.m. — A 31-year-old male was arrested after deputies located narcotics on him during a pedestrian check at Highway 111 and San Luis Rey Avenue. He was also found to be on parole. He was booked at the county jail in Indio.
Jan. 24, 3:27 p.m. — A 57-year-old male from Indio was arrested after deputies located narcotics on him during a pedestrian check at Highway 111 and Fred Waring Drive. He was booked at the county jail in Indio.
